Caroline O'Breen focuses on engaged and conceptual photography based art and present pioneering and critical works from artists who explore and expand the diversity of the photographic medium. It wants to provide a platform for artists who focus on examining the transformations in function and meaning of the photographic image, and also in their elaboration are looking for a broadening of the medium. In this way photography can also function as a starting point or framework for multimedia installations, collages, sculptures and conceptual art.
Caroline O’Breen also works as a curator for photography and art exhibitions and as reviewer for the international online platform and magazine LensCulture. Beside she works as an art consultant for corporate art collections. She has taken part in different conferences and portfolio reviews for photography festivals in the Netherlands and abroad such as World Press Photo portfolio reviews and Rencontre d’Arles in France.
