This year's Amsterdam Art Weekend included a one-day conference organised jointly with ArtReview, 52 different venues, over 80 events and the works of more than 250 national and international artists were on view. Quite a show! We had visitors from all different corners of the globe from Germany, Greece, United States, South-Korea and Ethiopia, to name just a few. We've put together a recap of this year's Art Weekend, which we hope will bring back good memories and inspire you to visit again next year.

We kicked of the Art Weekend with the Amsterdam Art x ArtReview Conference - Revising the Past, Reimagining the Future. To read a full review of this inspirational one-day conference, click here. We like to thank all those involved for their continous support.

The opening of then annual Amsterdam Art Weekend takes place during the RijksakademieOPEN. Together we welcome our special guests to be the first to see the 45 artist's-studio's, which open once a year. It was a joyous moment and we couldn't wish for a better start of an incredible the Art Weekend.

Every day is a busy day during the Art Weekend. We hosted the Gallery Night on Friday in collaboration with ODAM - one of the highlights of the Weekend. Also taking place this day was the opening of Printing Plant, an artist book fair, a book launch and performances, one by Ryoji Ikeda at Eye Filmmuseum.

Saturday was packed! Both with visitors, exhibitions, events and more. Gallery Specials were going on all through the city which gave visitors a fun-filled day-program on where to go. On Saturday night the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam opened two (!) new shows and we danced the night away with guests, gallerist, artists and all those interested at ISO.

Sunday didn't mean slowing down. There was a screening program together with IDFA, performances and various events. All in all Amsterdam Art Weekend makes up for a great time where galleries, museums, projects spaces and other locations bring inspiration to their visitors. Join us next year, we look forward to seeing you!

With so many programs, locations, and visitors, it was quite a task to keep track of everything during the hustle and bustle of it all. So say hello to our photo album on Facebook if you wish to see more. Or discover snaps from events you might have missed. Either way, enjoy!
