What is the difference between Amsterdam Art and Amsterdam Art Weekend?
Amsterdam Art is the umbrella organization behind Amsterdam Art Weekend. Throughout the year, Amsterdam Art promotes the best contemporary art exhibition Programs in the city. Amsterdam Art Weekend takes place once a year at the end of November. During this four-day event, the most cutting-edge contemporary art venues showcase the latest developments in contemporary art.

When is Amsterdam Art Weekend?
Amsterdam Art Weekend 2019 takes place from 21-24 November.

How can I buy tickets to Amsterdam Art Weekend?
Amsterdam Art Weekend takes place across more than 50 different venues, each venue has their own admissions policy. Entrance to the galleries is free, for all other venues, please check the venue pages. 

I want to visit Amsterdam Art Weekend with a group, can Amsterdam Art help me make arrangements?
If you are interested in taking a gallery tour as a group, send an email to info@amsterdamart.com and we will get in touch with you. If you are a group of art professionals that is visiting the Art Weekend for research purposes, please send an email to professionals@amsterdamart.com

I am interested in the Professionals’ Program, can I apply to become accredited as a Professional Guest?
The Professionals' Program was especially designed for art experts and art collectors, giving them the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions about the current state and future of the art world whilst expanding their networks. If you are an art expert and/or an art collector that would like to be accredited for our Professionals' Program, please send an email to professionals@amsterdamart.com with your name and a short description of your occupation.

I want to volunteer during Amsterdam Art Weekend, where do I sign up?
Amsterdam Art is always looking for volunteers to support the organization during Amsterdam Art Weekend. Send an email with a short motivation and your resume to info@amsterdamart.com and we will get in touch with you.

I want to participate in Amsterdam Art Weekend as a venue, how do I apply?
All participants of Amsterdam Art Weekend go through a careful selection process in order to guarantee the highest quality. The selection is made by an independent invitation committee. Applications open in the month of May prior to the upcoming edition, and close in June. All applicants are then informed by July, following which the Program becomes finalized. If you are interested in participating in Amsterdam Art Weekend as a venue, please contact us in March/April so that we can inform you about the application process.

I want to participate in Amsterdam Art year-round as a venue, how do I apply?
Amsterdam Art is currently not accepting applications for year-round participants. Applications will re-open in January. If you are interested in participating in Amsterdam Art as a venue year-round, send an email to info@amsterdamart.com in December and we will get in touch with you.

I am an independent artist, how do I present my work during Amsterdam Art Weekend?
All participants of Amsterdam Art Weekend are official venues. To present you work during Amsterdam Art Weekend, you need to be represented by one of our participants. Unfortunately, Amsterdam Art Weekend does not represent independent artists.

I am an independent artist, what can Amsterdam Art do for me?
Unfortunately, Amsterdam Art does not represent independent artists. Feel free to take a look at and contact our participating venues for questions about representation.
