Intimacy in times of social distancing
- Wednesday 23 June
The pandemic has drastically affected the way we interact with others. Hugs and handshakes in public have become frowned upon and the longing for human touch has even been given a name: skin hunger. How do these new social norms and behaviour shifts impact our relationships with ourselves and others? Artists Ana Vallejo and Leonard Surayajaya have used the past months of quarantine to explore this question through visual research touching upon topics such as intimacy, sexuality and wellbeing.
Guests: Ana Vallejo (artist), Leonard Suryajaya (artist), Gem Fletcher (creative director, writer, podcaster) Moderator: Amelie Schüle (head of projects Foam)
