Alice Browne will talk to Katharine Cooper on the art of photography.
Katharine Cooper is a South African portrait and war photographer. In 2013 she was awarded the photography prize of the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris, which was followed by a solo show at the institute. In 2018 a selection of her work from the Middle East was selected for the exhibition ‘Chrétiens d’Orient: Deux Mille Ans d’Histoire’ at the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris.
Born in Oxford in 1986, Alice Browne is a British artist based in London. She did her postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Art in 2016, and took part in Young British Art I and II in 2011 and 2012. Her work was also selected by artist Shaun McDowell in the group show ‘Nothing Fixed’ at Marcelle Joseph Project, London.
