Ilulissat - Olaf Otto Becker

7 April - 12 May at Galerie Wouter van Leeuwen
Olaf Otto Becker (Travemünde, Germany, 1959) makes his photographs during summer when the sun is not going down over Greenland.

A whole dag long the sun is alone, in the company of the moon at night. Mostly hidden from view by fog and low-hanging clouds. The light that breaks through here is so diffuse that you can not see whether it is morning, afternoon or evening.
