Amsterdam Art Tours

Collect your information at our Amsterdam Art Hub: a tote bag with a self-guided gallery tour of some highlights in our programme, a veggie lunchbox, homemade lemonade or a beer, the Amsterdam Art Programme booklet and some nice extra goodies from our partners.

You can also get around the city by boat. In collaboration with Rock That Boat, we have organised several tours, which start just around the corner from our Amsterdam Art Hub. Starting from Nieuwe Achtergracht the boat takes you to the galleries district in the city center on a 30-minutes canal tour. We provide you with an Amsterdam Art tote bag containing a programme booklet, including various gallery tours and an overview of all the exhibitions. Also, our onboard art guides can give you tips on their favourite art spots in town.

You can hop off at the dock on the Keizersgracht and continue your tour on foot. Or sail back to the Amsterdam Art Gallery and map your route from there.

Let the Oedipus Head Brewer & Art Director take you on a flavourful journey. On this boat tour you get to taste several craft beers from Oedipus Brewery, while learning more about how art influences their packaging designs and forms the basis of their organisation. The boat takes you to the gallery district in the city center. We provide you with an Amsterdam Art tote bag containing a programme booklet, including various gallery tours and an overview of all the exhibitions.

After a 60-minutes canal tour we sail back to the Amsterdam Art Gallery where you can map your route from there.

Amsterdam Art also offers guided gallery tours the Dutch way: by bike. These start at the Amsterdam Art Gallery at Capital C and visit three other galleries. This tour also includes the Amsterdam Art tote bag containing a programme booklet, including various gallery tours and an overview of all the exhibitions. It is being held in collaboration with A-Bike, so you can either bring your own bike or rent one with a 25% discount at one of A-Bike’s locations around town on presentation of this booklet.
