Slewe Gallery was founded by Martita Slewe in October 1994. Situated in the centre of Amsterdam, its internationally oriented program is focused mainly on new tendencies in abstract painting. On average, the gallery stages seven solo exhibitions each year.
Since 2009, the gallery has been organizing a specially curated show once a year, and it has also initiated a series of artist interviews on video by art critic Robert-Jan Muller.
