About the gallery:
Borzo is one of the oldest established art galleries in The Netherlands, located centrally on the Keizersgracht. While its special focus lies with international avant-garde movements from the 20th Century, such as Nul-Zero, Minimalism and Conceptual art, the gallery also shows contemporary artists such as Marc Mulders, Koen Vermeule, Carlijn Mens, and Masha Trebukova.
Borzo is furthermore worth a visit due to its architecture: the 1932 interior is a historic landmark in the “De Stijl” architecture by Alexander Bodon and was restored in 2005 by state-of-the-art architect Wiel Arets.
Artists represented by the gallery:
Anne Appleby, Joost Baljeu, Marinus Boezem, Bram Bogart, Constant, Ad Dekkers, Ger van Elk, Wieteke Heldens, Jan Henderikse, Ewerdt Hilgemann, Heringa/Van Kalsbeek, Carlijn MensMarc Mulders, Henk Peeters, Jan Schoonhoven, Koen Vermeule, Carel Visser, herman de vries
