Each year, at the end of November, the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten opens to the public for RijksakademieOPEN. Forty-six talented and ambitious artists from across the world present, in their studios, the results of a year’s research, experimentation and innovation. Visitors have the opportunity to discover trends and innovations in the visual arts, and get to know artists whose work they may later see in collections, exhibitions and biennials worldwide. RijksakademieOPEN gives them an exclusive preview.
